Artist's Description
The Winter is very long in Canada and this Year it was particularly long. Springtime started very slowly. You could almost see each flower open over days. I tried to speed this process by painting opened flowers. I had an imperative need to see Pink, Tender Green, Turquoise ... bright colors ... to exorcise this endless Winter.
